The TVR type fluidized bed cooler is built with the best technique to ensure continuous use in the foundry environment, requiring minimal operational maintenance. Cooling is produced by the transfer of calories necessary to produce the evaporation of the water which is appropriately dosed and mixed with the sand in the premixer, before entering the fluidized bed cooler. Evaporation is favoured by the flow of air that crosses the layer of sand homogeneously formed as a consequence of the oscillating movement of the transport channel.
The longitudinal chamber beneath the fluidized bed is divided into several separate chambers, each equipped with adjustable butterfly valves. This measure allows the correct dosage of the air flow through the sand. Our highly advanced management system allows the automatic regulation of air and water volumes based on the actual flow rate, temperature, and moisture of the returning sand.
