Our history
JML Industrie has always been at the forefront of foundry technology and innovation. We’ve helped hundreds of foundries maximize their site space and improve their production capacity. The expertise and motivation of our 80-strong team enable us to deliver exceptional results on time.
Since 1979, we have gone from strength to strength, and now have four sites in Europe; in France, Germany and Italy. We constantly strive to provide exceptional end-to-end service, and have recently launched JML Automation in Metz.
Creation
1979
Jean-Michel Lavoisier founded JML in Vrigne aux Bois in the Ardennes, on the Belgian border, in the heart of the metallurgical industry. The company started out manufacturing trailers for industry.
Citroën Partners
1984
JML is listed as a supplier of foundry equipment to a major French car manufacturer.
Expanding
1990
Fifth green sand plant commissioned.
Expanding
1995
Doubling of JML Industrie's design office capacity. Use of Solidworks 3D software: 3D modeling using parametric design. It is now used for all customer studies.
New Chairman
2009
Mr Stéphane Mozet takes over the management of the company.
DISEF buyout
2010
JML buys DISEF, a company specializing in dust removal for foundries.
JML Germany
2012
Creation of JML Germany's vibratory equipment division: furnace loaders, decoring grids, transport vibrators.
JML Italy
2018
JML expands its team to 80 people across its various activities. JML opens its Italian subsidiary to better serve Southern Europe with industrial equipment built by JML France. Un nouveau bâtiment est construit pour augmenter la capacité de production chez JML France. Avec cette nouvelle structure la surface couverte dépassera les 10 000 m².
40 yaers old
2019
JML celebrates its 40th anniversary and presents its largest stand at the GIFA trade fair in Düsseldorf.
Buying Space
2020
SPACE joins the JML Industrie group, which means that a complete sandblasting plant is now available with JML. Creation of JML Automation, specializing in the development of automation and robotics

JML Industrie has a number of divisions and teams. This has allowed each country to develop their key competencies and the result is the deep knowledge across the various divisions whilst JML Industrie is able to accompany you for all your equipment needs.

After taking over the company, he began growing JML by developing the production facilities and sales network. The experience he has acquired in various foundry projects enables him to meet our customers' needs as closely as possible.

In charge of the commercial aspect, he is the link between the customer's request and the solution proposed by JML. His experience in the foundry industry enables him to understand the customer's needs and to make technical proposals.

His extensive experience at SPACE means that he is our technical contact for green sand equipment. He is also responsible for the commercial aspects of certain territories.

For a long time he worked as a subcontractor for JML. Now manager of the Automation section, his job is to ensure that our equipment runs smoothly.

Manager of our site in Italy, he supervises projects in the core-making field. His experience at Fritz Hansberg makes him our point of reference for targeting the right solution.
