This machine is a continuous premixer with added cooling, expressly designed to treat foundry sand, with the aim of obtaining homogeneous distribution of the pre-humidification water, forced evaporative cooling, while maintaining the homogenization of the water in the sand grain and thus eliminating the “free water” phenomenon. The machine was also designed as a compromise for foundries where there is no physical space to insert a fluidized bed cooler after the pre-mixer, producing good benefits also on the return sands, in terms of constant cooling and humidification.

The MUR pre-mixer cooler is particularly suitable for treating return sand with an initial temperature of up to 100°C and a maximum flow rate of 180 T/h.
